Due to Global warming, summers are getting hotter and hotter every year. There is no other way to fight against this scorching heat but to keep you hydrated and well nourished all the time. The best way to do this yourself is by including some trendy cool drinks in your daily diet throughout summer.
You may consider water as the ultimate and easiest source to keep yourself hydrated. However, drinking a lot of water every daily makes it kind of boring, and I am sure you all will agree with me on this one. Instead, I would prefer trying some trendy and cool drinks for this summer to keep me hydrated.

Let me share some good and cool drinks that you can too try to keep you hydrated and kicking this summer.
For the starters, I will definitely go with a nice flavoured Iced Tea. The good thing with Iced Tea is that you get a lot of different options. If that’s not enough then tea is also considered as the best source of antioxidants. Opting for Iced Tea not only offers you a great cool drink but also a healthy drink for that matter. You can mix it up with some healthy herbs for rejuvenating your taste buds and increasing the health quotient of your drink. Since its served cold/chilled, one can kick off the heat and the tiredness of the day with this.
Coconut water is an excellent drink to hydrate your body in this summer. It has a lot of health benefits and can help recover the fluid loss because of diarrhoea, vomiting, or excessive sweating. Being a good source of carbohydrates, coconut water can also be a great constituent to boost your energy levels. Besides hydrating your body, coconut water is also light on the stomach. An age old drink which is a life saver can be served chilled to refresh the mood.
Summer is the time for mangoes and there can’t be a greater delight than sipping some ripe mango juice in this scorching heat. Mango juice is the healthiest drink during the summers as it helps in preventing cancer, control diabetes, maintains blood pressure, lowers cholesterol levels and much more. To make things exciting, you can mix mango juice with other fruits as well as coconut water, honey, or other syrups. There are many different mango juice recipes available out there on the net and curated by my chef friends that you can try. Remember to keep the mangoes in water for an hour before extract fresh juice from the mangoes.
There’s no soothing drink than finely made lemonade when the weather is hot and humid outside. Freshly prepared lemonade not only hydrates your body but it also contains Vitamins and other minerals in ample amounts. Lemons are also excellent antioxidants and offer cancer-fighting properties. You can try many different things with lemonade exploring the different blend of flavours by mixing it up with coconut, apple juice, or honey. You can also blend in some alcohols to make chilled cocktails to relish this summer. This a definite sundowner which one and all prefer on a hot summer evening.
